Patients have two payment options; you can EITHER pay a membership subscription for you and your family, OR choose "pay as you go".

You can pay as you go @ $16.50 per GP visit or just pay $15.00 per month for membership.

Membership Subscription – How it works

$15.00 per month to see the GP as offen as you need.

Under this scheme you pay just $45.00 for the 1st 3 months and then $15.00 per month after that. You and your family can see the doctor or nurse as often as you need for this fee, provided your membership fee is up to date. Your family is defined as any children under the age of 18 years that are living with you at your address, and up to two adult caregivers.

If you have a chronic health condition Work and Income NZ may pay your membership via the Disability Benefit – please ask the doctor for this form.

Membership has to be paid at least 1 month in advance.

Pay As You Go – How it works

If you have chosen the "pay as you go" option then you and your family members will pay for each visit to the doctor. How much you pay will depend on your age and if your Government funding has come through, and is shown in the table below:

It is important to remember that even if you choose the "pay as you go" option you must enrol with us to provide your medical care.

If you are NON-ELIGIBLE or a NON-NEW ZEALANDER – How it works

You visit the doctor or nurse when you need to and you pay $50 for every visit.
