Immigration Medicals

If you are wishing to gain permanent residency, student visa, work or visitor's permit, then you will need to complete a medical for your immigration application.

Our nurses and doctors can assist you with all the necessary requirements for completing your application including blood testing. Radiology services required for your chest xray are located close by at 280 Queen St, next to Immigration New Zealand. We use a secure online service recommended by Immigration New Zealand which helps speed up the submission process and allows us to track the progress of your application and thus avoid potential delays. Your immigration medical can usually be completed within two working days.

The requirements for your immigration medical are age related as outlined in the table below.

What to bring:

TWO passport-sized photos

Your passport (or a certified copy of your passport ) or a New Zealand Driver's Licence

Current student ID if you are a student

Any prescription glasses or contact lenses you normally wear

An interpreter if your English is poor

Note: it is advisable for woman to undergo examination at least 3 days after finishing their menstrual period as this may complicate the urine testing which is done at our clinic.
